All Night Prayer

Please join Spokane Prays on Saturday December 31 and Sunday January 1, to pray out 2022 and pray in 2023 with your sisters and brothers from the Churches of Spokane.  This CITY-wide prayer meeting will be held at the Gathering House, located at the corner of Garland and Post Street.  All Christian believers are invited to join us in Praising our Almighty God and asking that His will be done in our city.

The Gathering House
733 W Garland Ave,
Spokane, WA 99205

We will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday,  New Year’s Eve and pray until 12 noon on Sunday, New Year’s Day.  NO, you don’t have to stay and pray for 24 hours (although you are welcome to do that if you like); you may come and go as you wish.

This year’s 24 hour prayer gathering is inspired and fashioned after a previous gathering over the same period last year.  That was a “Call to Prayer” featuring 24 hours of Prayer, Fasting, and Repentance and was the brainchild of our Congresswoman, Cathy McMorris Rodgers.  At that time, Cathy felt we were desperate for a move of God in our city, our state, and our nation, and she still does.  Her leadership included structuring our time during each hour to include many different prayer leaders.  This same format will be followed this year.  For example, one hour was praying over the seven spheres of influence in our land.

Please tell your praying friends about this, and encourage them to join us to supplicate the Father and draw the Holy Spirit to our aid.  Remember that when God’s people who are called by His name humble themselves and pray, and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14).
